Anatoly Naiman was a Russian poet, translator, and writer. He began as a poet in the late 1950s, as one of the circle of poets close to Anna Akhmatova. The author of the poetry collections Clouds at the End of the Century and The Rhythm of a Hand, Naiman is recognized as one of Russia's most prominent poets.
