I am an art consultant and art collector and worked with Mary Silverwood for over 10 years as a business "partner" and exclusive representative. During that time I purchased and was gifted many works by the artist. I also produced two limited editions, each with a 200 edition printed by Master Printer David Salgado of Trillium Graphics.These are also being offered on this mesart site, along with their Silverwood originals.
Mary was a brilliant colorist and recipient of many awards and accolades. She was a studio artist and worked primarily with pastels on black rag paper. Born and raised in Texas she painted (with pastels) in Sonoma County and the Southwest, particularly in New Mexico. Sadly, Mary Silverwood died in 2011 in New Mexico
