Painting is my biggest passion. Even though I use various techniques, watercolor is my favorite. This technique fits perfect my artistic temperament because it requires making fast, intuitive decisions. The pace forced by the watercolor appeals to me as my paintings are often created with an impulse. I would like my paintings to be subtle and simple in its form and again watercolor suits completely because of transparent, floating spots of color. Although my paintings are quite abstract, I would like them to connote association with nature. I want my paintings to be an illusion of reality and it is up to the viewer what he wants to see there and how far he wants to decode depiction. The most important elements in my painting are spots and lines. Even though spots are indicating a figure, lines are providing a character of a painting. In my manner of painting it is impossible to entirely control spilling paints, but it is not a problem for me, since I consider the coincidence a very useful tool. It helps me achieve new and interesting results.
