What are requirements to get a domain name?
Anybody can register any available domain name.
How do I get/register a domain name?
If you would like to have your own domain name you must have an Artist Studio or Artist Gallery account and register a domain name. The less expensive way to register a domain name is at: http://www.godaddy.com. They'll try to make you buy their other services, such as 'private registration', but you typically won't need those.
When registering a domain name, enter the following information into your domain record at your domain registrar:
Primary Nameserver: ns1.kattare.com Primary Nameserver IP: 69.59.195.60
Secondary Nameserver: ns2.kattare.com Secondary Nameserver IP: 65.212.180.60
If they don't have a place to enter a numeric IP address (69.59.195.60), just enter the nameserver names (ns1.kattare.com).

How long does it take to hook up my domain name with my website?
It typically takes 2-4 business days for your domain name to be directed to our servers. You can continue setting up images and text on your website while waiting for this; your account is accessible through http://www.mesart.com/<your username>.
