Back to the Picture\SoMa Gallery welcomes artists Glenn Caley Bachmann, Ezra Cattan, Randy Figures, Peter Kupfer, Sarah Newton, Trish Tunney, and Hilary Williams in a group exhibit of artwork celebrating the City of San Francisco. In multiple media, each artist studies the urban landscape of the city and its inhabitants, rendering landmarks as icons and presenting uncommon views of everyday life in the City by the Bay.

Market Street Gallery, with guest curator Maggie Malloy , has organized an invitational selection of local ceramic artists who emphasize the process of pushing clay onto art in ways that connect material form to content, and historical context. These sculptural works encompass many ideas: narrative, political, comical, religious, spiritual, cultural, and confessional in nature.
