MAGGIE MALLOY: Stones, Bones, Locks, and BoxesRECEPTION: Friday, July 31, 2009 July - August 2 Ceramics artist Maggie Malloy explores the concept "earth plus mud plus fire makes stone" with a hands-on interactive project. Museum visitors are invited to create surface finishes on "stone" objects to be used in an installation as an offering to our ancestors.
