Residency Program at I-Park Artists' Enclave 2008

I-Park is a 450-acre woodland retreat in rural East Haddam, CT. Residencies are offered from May-November to visual artists (including digital and environmental), composers, landscape and garden designers, writers and architects. Work samples are evaluated through a juried process. Accommodations include private living quarters in an 1840's farmhouse, shared bathroom facilities, and a private studio. An electric kiln, music equipment, wireless internet and library facilities are provided.

There is a $20 processing fee and artists are responsible for transportation to and from the area as well as food and work materials. The facility is otherwise offered at no cost to accepted artists. International applicants are welcome. A $1,000 grant will be offered to two international artists whose work is held in high regard by the selection committee.
