Before you begin

With your MesArt account, you get an e-mail account, yourname@yourdomain.com (or if you don't own a domain, yourname@mesart.com). We can also forward mail from that account to any other e-mail account of your choice, for example to your account at Hotmail, Yahoo!, or Google Mail, or an e-mail account at your Internet Service Provider (AOL, Earthlink and the like).

To set up yourname@mesart.com address and have mail forwarded to your other account

Make a request for us to set up an email forwarding to your other email address. The mail to yourname@mesart.com will be automatically forwarded to your other address.

To set up yourname@yourdomain.com or yourname@mesart.com address

  1. Make a request for us to create a POP3 email account. We will provide you a username and password for your new email account.
  2. Here is the information that you have to enter into your mail program:
Your username: Username that we will provide

Your password: Password that we will provide

Incoming (POP3) mail server: mail.mesart.com Outgoing (smtp) mail server: smtp.mesart.com

Please note that incoming and outgoing mail servers both require your username and password. The outgoing server uses the same settings (username and password) as the incoming server.

To ensure password authentication is selected for the outgoing server, please check account properties in your mail program. Here is how to find the required option in your account properties:

Outlook Express: <Account Properties>: Servers: Outgoing Mail Server: My server requires authentication Outlook: <Account Properties>: More Settings: Outgoing Server: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication Mac OS X Mail: <Account Properties>: Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Server Settings: Authentication: Password Entourage: <Account Properties>: Sending Mail: SMTP Server: Advanced Options: SMTP server requires authentication

  1. Now your email is set up. The quota on a email box is 30 MB. Attachment limit is 10 MB.
  2. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or difficulties.
In order to use your new email, you don't have to log in to MesArt - just use your regular mail program.
