NEWS:

CALL FOR ART

http://www.mesart.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=429

Submission deadline: May 8, 2009

The SF/SPCA is combing the Donor Open House for the new veterinary hospital with an art auction that supports the SF/SPCA's Animal Assisted Therapy Program. The program serves more than 43,000 ill, disabled and elderly members of our community each year. The program also promotes literacy and love of reading by providing trained pet therapists to San Francisco Public Libraries and schools through the Puppy Dog reading program. All sales from the proceeds of the auction go directly to the Animal Assisted Therapy Program.

This year's event will feature a live auction for SF/SPCA donors and the public and a private preview reception for SF/SPCA's donors. A silent auction will start on May 14 and will be operating until the live auction starts. It is anticipated that will be a highly trafficked and lively event. Please consider supporting this great program by supporting a piece of your art.
