Debra Russell of Artist Edge combines her two passions- the world of entertainment with facilitating growth and change in people's lives. As an Artist’s Success Coach, workshop leader and keynote speaker, Debra works with creative individuals to help shape their success in their chosen field. Debra specializes in the performing arts working with performing musicians and actors, and on the business and production side with visual artists, writers, directors, producers, engineers, venue operators and executives.

Designed specifically for visual and spatial artists, this workshop will get you thinking outside of the gallery so you can find alternative spaces for your artwork. In this class you will learn:

As an Art Business Consultant, Ms. Zlatar advises emerging and mid-career visual artists and performers on reaching their artistic and financial goals. She coaches on time management, goal setting and marketing. Ms. Zlatar is also the founder of ArtMatch, an art business practice that supports professionals on becoming more creative and creatives on becoming more business savvy.

Ms. Zlatar also has 12 years experience in Market Research, International Business, Event Management and Art Business Consulting (New York City, Brussels and New Orleans). Her eclectic background brings a fresh and new perspective to the business world and the Arts Community. Ms. Zlatar is originally from Latin America, has a degree in Marketing, an MBA, is fluent in Spanish and French and is an avid photographer.

So how do you move forward, easily and joyously? Create beliefs that give you buoyancy, that clear the tangle of weeds from your path and that fuel your energy and excitement. And once you’ve created those beliefs, you have to strengthen them, just like you strengthen your muscles when you work out – by using them.

Artist’s Success Coach

Debra's own creativity began in her teens when she began acting in high school and later appeared in off-Broadway productions in NYC. It was during this time in her career that she began producing and leading personal development programs setting the stage for her eventual development of her company, Artist's Edge. While earning her BFA in theater from Syracuse University's conservatory program, she also studied directing as her minor. She moved to Los Angeles to work in the production side of the film and television industry, commercials and music videos.
