The Essays

The Essays at MesArt features a host of essays ranging from the business of art to the philosophy of art, from self-help kits to the nature of the contemporary aesthetic. It is the contention of the staff of MesArt that contemporary art has merged the aesthetic with the commodity and that these diametrical opposites, these age-old opponents are no longer at odds. In fact, today, they have become the syncretism of blissful union, or so it seems, or so lies the simulacrum.

MesArt is soliciting essays relating to the philosophy and business of art, art reviews and art criticism. Those interested in writing essays of this type should send ideas to [MesArt] before being asked to submit.
