A former submarine barracks and naval shipyard has evolved into one of the largest community of artists in the country. The 5-acre premises, usually off-limits to the public, are open for a combination warehouse sale and exhibition.

Catch an inkling of the messy nature of creation, as around 300 artists and craftsmen open up their workspaces to the public.
