Villa Aurora

Villa Aurora is operated by sister German and U.S. organizations. The Los Angeles program accepts up to 16 writers, visual artists, photographers, art historians, and filmmakers from Europe annually for 3-month residencies. In Berlin, 3-month residencies are awarded each year in literature, music composition, and film to 12 young (up to 40 years old) writers and artists living and working in Germany; 2 artists working together may share one grant. Visual artists are accepted by invitation only; students are not eligible.
